Sessions Inlay No. 1

Customer brought the clock in for repair and told me it was her parents clock but had never run as far as she remembered. Opened it up and saw it needed a suspension spring and several bushings, along with a clean and lube. Upon teardown found that there were 5 bushings needed. Polished all pivots and installed the bushings and suspension spring. Restaked the time side great wheel which had been left loose on its arbor from a previous repair. Reassembled and after some interesting moments timing the strike train, adjusted it for proper timekeeping. Good runner with nice though muted strike.

Finished and delivered this one without getting pictures of the case or finished works. Am going to post the teardown sequence anyway for whatever use someone may have for it. Made it a lot easier for me to put it back together!
